Female doctor complains about gender pay gap.
Another female doctor blames the higher female doctor attrition to the gender pay gap.
The doctor gender pay gap problem is the same issue as in other industries. Women in general have less competitive drive as men. There are a few women who have same competitive drives as men, but they're in minority. They and seniority accounts for all of the pay gap.
In the military, everybody gets the same pay for the same ranks. Yet women still have attrition problems, and also promoted less than men, despite all the incentives and distortions. Pay transparency and equity will not solve this problem.
Physician man-hours will crash in America. Nothing will fix that problem other than immigration. Although, the rate of Covid-19 mortality keeps going in America, that patient demand problem will magically disappear. Voila.
