Russia, Ukraine, and national socialists

Daily Beast explores the convoluted history of #skinhead, #neonazis, and Euromaidan in Russia and Ukraine. Headline and thesis claims Russia created the Ukrainian neoNazi problem, but actual description reads more like Ukrainians sheltered the Russian political dissidents of all stripes, including Russian skinheads. Ukrainian affinity for all Russian dissidents led to the problem today.

More screw up stories at the International Legion. This is a stark reminder that governments always take forever to do things. Most of the described training are unnecessary. These men should have just made their way to the front as soon as possible, picked up weapons, and start shooting. If they wanted to kill Russians. They are stereotypical Europeans, waiting on the government to tell them what to do. In a crisis, you don't have time to wait on governments.

Ukraine is hunting down collaborators, spies, and sympathizers. This is one more step toward ethnic cleansing in Ukraine. The war is accelerating the continuing and inevitable ethnic cleansing trends since Ukrainian nationalism post Soviet collapse. Some people believe that the Gallician Ukrainians will embrace the Rus Ukrainians because of the war's crucible. Some of that is happening, but not fast enough. Russia killed too many Gallicians. And too many Rus are collaborating with the invaders. This spy hunt is the precursor to pogroms.

Stupid statistics.

"when a black school closes, the black neighborhood gentrifies, white people move in." Stupid statistics. school closure is a symptom preceding gentrification, not a cause.

China "Complicates" Western "Responses" to Ukraine

China, being an economic juggernaut friendly to Russia, and holding UNSC permanent membership, means Western sanctions against Russia are far less effective. It also means that the "West" have many fewer options against Russia.

Ha Ha Ha. Another funny article for you today. No shit, Sherlock.

Smarter People would not have picked this fight with Russia. Everything discussed in the article, was true before the invasion, during, and will be after. The larger strategic situation has not changed. The smaller strategic situation in Ukraine, perhaps. The Ukrainian call for tanks, indicate that Russia may have succeeded in the demilitarization goal, partially. Part of "demilitarization" means to destroy Ukraine 's offensive capability, meaning its tank fleet. The other part being its regular forces engaged in East Ukraine. If Russia succeed in annihilating the Ukraine regulars, Russia has achieved its near-term strategic goal.

Unless, of course, America fully rebuilds the Ukrainian Army post-war. Will Congress appropriate the money necessary to replace all Ukrainian hardware. Especially if they are not buying Abrams tanks. American foreign aid policy argues against this. I don't see an American T-72 factory anywhere.

White Patriarchy In Action

A woman notes that white men (at 30%) are more interested in going back to in-person work than women and black men. More evidence of White Patriarchy.

Ha ha ha. So very funny article, unintentionally. Here is your joke of the day.

Articles like this one, amply demonstrates that Integration is a failure, and will always be.

Russia Sanction Endgame: Famine Edition

The Ukrainian War and the American sanctions are blocking much of the world from Ukrainian and Russian wheat, corn, and sunflower seed oils, and from Belarus potash and other Russian fertilizers. Many countries are dependent on Russian and Ukrainian wheat, and now facing rising prices. Others, such as Brazil, depend on Russian fertilizers and will have to cut production. This is especially serious because planting season, and fertilizer season, is now. The Ukrainians took fuel away from all the farmers for the war, so Ukrainians can't harvest the current crops nor sown the next.

Now we see the endgame for Russian sanction, assuming that America does not end them as part of peace negotiations. Brazil, at this point, will definitely join the Chinese currency settlement system. If only to buy Russian and Belarus fertilizers. Unless America gives Armenia emergency wheat aid, the current West-friendly government will also have to join the Chinese system and break the American sanctions, just to buy wheat. Same with all the other 3rd world governments.

Turkey is definitely the key state to watch. Erdogan is already shaky politically. If food prices keep rising, he will get voted out. America cannot pay for Erdogan's wheat, even if they want to. So Erdogan is very likely to break sanctions.

More basically, the last food inflation brought the Color Revolutions, and ushered in that wave of West-friendly regimes around the world. It is beyond ironic that the current food inflation, boosted by the American sanctions, will sweep in an era of anti-West regimes.

Case in point, Tunisia is having riots. Again. As Nightwatch said, governments don't usually know how to deal with food riots.

Glimpse of Congress and Washington Elite Ruminations

Rep. Stephanie Murphy, D-FL, is retiring from House after 3 terms. She alleges that the Democrat Party leadership does not support the moderates at all. Nor are they concerned about helping the moderates hold on to purple districts. Murphy further alleges that all of the blue lobbying interest groups (environmental, labor, immigration, anti-gin, etc) no longer are interest specific; instead, they only do what the Democratic Party leadership wants. Murphy alleges that Republicans are just as bad, and Democrats will lose to Republicans.

This is a further indicator of the domestic politics becoming intractable, losing degrees of freedom. If you assume that Congress representatives are not corrupt, are there to do what they're supposed to do, and that they love America, (which is what Murphy portrays of herself and the others), then this is straightforward depiction of a political system that's getting rid of moderates.

If you assume that the banks were bankrolled the moderates, the Washington Borgian uniparty, then this article indicates that the liberal and conservative groups they had nurtured, have grown into uncontrollable monsters, that they are crying for their lost influence. That the populist gestalt is finally winning over Washington from the uniparty.

There's No Place Like Home; Or, You Can't Run Away

Russians running away from Putin find that other people think all Russians are evil.

More Russians running away.

This is a reminder that, trying to separate yourself from your ethnicity's evils is stupid. You cannot disown your own blood relatives. Other people will never make fine distinctions. People are always stupid. Running away is not a solution.

Now, if they are not ethnic Rus, the refugees, then they need to emphasize their ethnicities. Be out and be proud.
