The Foreign Legion of Ukraine: Truth and Fiction

Foreign mercenaries report significant supply, training, and organization problems in Ukraine. They confirmed that the Yavoriv cruise missile strike directly targeted the foreign fighters and foreign weapon shipments going through Yavoriv. They also confirm that some of them have left Ukraine or are leaving, following the strike.

A Reddit poster purports to be a veteran former-volunteer of the Ukraine foreign legion, and reports significant mismanagement from the Ukrainian officers, little leadership and training, and lack of supplies. He reports that the mercenaries are being used in Trench warfare fodder and not for raiding, which was what the veterans expected. He has left following the Yavoriv missile strike.

Given the Associated Press report, the Redditor is credible. The management problem is likely as significant as the Redditor alleges, given the inferences in the AP report. The significant supply problem in the AP report is quite alarming, too. This demonstrates that the Ukrainian War is going significantly worse than social media is portraying. The Ukrainian videos likely represent the upper bound of any day's Russian losses. Meaning that Russians are doing better than what Ukraine is saying.

An American volunteer and Boogaloo boy confirms key details of the Lavoriv strike, and the leadership and logistic problems of the volunteers. He further alleges that the Ukrainian border gyards are confiscating personal equipment, cutting up foreign passports, and returning caught volunteers back to forced conscription service. Further details and problems.
